Books are on the way!

The Baltimore Imprint has been a project that has taken me an extensive amount of time to complete. I started working on this project two and a half years ago, and it was honestly a story I didn’t think I would be able to tell. I’ve started, stopped, paused, deleted, and at times detached myself from the project. I contemplated what was shareable and what wasn’t. At times I even questioned the story's foundation. I finally came to a place where I could walk away feeling like I had given the story all I could. This story is near and dear to my heart because it is my story.

I have so many stories I want to tell, but none of them compare to this story. This story helped me recognize who I truly am and what I genuinely encompass as a woman. Transparency can often be a daunting experience because the world never holds back judgment and ridicule. Although I am no stranger to critiques, the concept has created a lot of anxiety for me in the past. After countless dissections, The Baltimore Imprint has been completed and will be available soon. I hope this story allows another young woman to gain the courage to face her past traumas, disappointments, and maltreatment. I want this story to serve as a field guide of inspiration and influence to allow young people to grasp the understanding that where you start is not where you have to finish. Life throws us all curveballs of disappointment and discomfort. When we allow ourselves to understand those curveballs, we allow ourselves the opportunity for growth and elevation.

I look forward to sharing this story with you all. I also look forward to building my portfolio as an author. The Baltimore imprint is book one of a series that I would describe as a series that has a memoir, self-help, self-healing, and motivational component to its foundation. Book two of the Imprint series will be available in November! I look forward to hearing from you all and sharing the many fiction and non-fiction stories that come to mind. I also would like to thank everyone who has purchased a book, shared a post, or given me a word of encouragement during this process. I would also like to thank everyone who has offered me opportunities to speak about my publications. All of the opportunities and support are greatly appreciated, and I look forward to sharing more non-fiction accounts with you all soon!
